The condo had a straight view of the beach which was beautiful. The balcony was a great location to sit and watch the storms pass over the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, the laundry in the unit was amazing. Great views, nice room, lots of parking and good company from the others staying with in the other units.

The location is premium--just a few steps to miles of clean, white beach and ocean. Not too crowded when we went. This unit has oceanfront views, couldn't ask for much better. The complex included a pool as well, so it was everything we were looking for. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here!!Super clean, great space and the best view ever!! Loved the privacy of the pool, ocleanliness and the private beach stations and walkway. We noticed a slow drain in the tub the first day and let them know. They responded immediately and an hour later we came back and it was working perfect!! I definitely recommend staying here, it was SO worth it. We will be back for sure!!!

We liked the fact that you enter the unit from outside, no inside hallway. The kitchen was very well equipped. Since we didn't want to go to a restaurant, I did a lot of cooking. With a little bit of hunting around, I found all the equipment I needed.

Anchorage Rentals staff

We stayed at Anchorage 1 in unit 102 last week of July and would recommend this unit to anyone. The view of the ocean was spectacular, master bedroom spacious and just a short walkway to the beach. The dining room table was large and the chairs comfortable. Check In was simple with our own code entry allowing us to arrive a little later than normal check in. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. We will book this same unit on our next trip to Myrtle Beach S. Carolina

The Anchorage was a great place to stay! It is on the beach with a great view in a nice location. The condo has everything you will need and is located near lots of restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others!

The view of the beach was perfect, the interior of the condo was tastefully decorated and very clean, The pool was clean, the renters and owners that we met were all very friendly. The walk to the beach was very short and well-maintained. There We’re only a couple of negatives to our stay, and they were minor. The biggest problem we had was the sliding glass door to the porch was very hard to open. it did not slide open easily. We also had some problems with the clothes washer and we had to call the management company. We had to leave a message because it was after hours. We are thinking about coming back again next year and if we do, we would be interested in the same condo.

We saw some dolphins which was a real treat. Collected lots of shells. We’ve stayed in this complex before, and this one is exceptionally nice. Only problem was sliding door needs a bit of a fix- hard to open, but overall, well decorated and clean. Everything you think you might need at your fingertips!

The unit was perfect for a small family and was a <10 min drive from downtown Myrtle Beach. One note, there are very little amenities for both Anchorage I & II. There is an outside pool (one on each site) and a small grilling area (no tennis courts, grass field to play in, or hot tub - in case you were wondering). As long as you know what you are getting, it is a great option for an enjoyable vacation!

Little did we know that Hurricane Matthew would move through the area the weekend before our visit. We had a few detours along the way, but the weather was perfect once we arrived and we were happy to find so little damage. The condo was wonderful and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the full moon shine on the Atlantic every night making it look like it was coated in silver. My husband and I have stayed at the Anchorage before and we will continue coming back.

Check in and out was quick and easy and we liked the keyless entry. Everything was clean and we had everything that we needed. We cooked quite a bit and the kitchen was very well equipped. Parking and the walk to the beach were very convenient. I was worried about the access road in front but it was not an issue at all. The view from the room was great. The beach area in front of the complex was not crowded and chairs/umbrellas were available to rent from a lifeguard right there. I liked the convenience of the 1st floor for coming back and forth from the beach for food/drinks and restroom. My 20 something children were a little uncomfortable in the twin beds but that is minor. I enjoyed watching people walk their dogs, and run/walk directly across the street on a sidewalk with exercise stops. If you like to run take your gear. It is a nice trail and not too busy. The condo is in a very nice area. We would recommend this condo and definitely come back. My parents have already booked a condo there for the fall.

It was squeaky clean, inviting, with all the comforts of home and a great view. We really liked the large shower. It looked like it was recently updated. The only complaint (if it really is one) is the bed in the master bedroom. Porch was so nice we ate in 3 nights just so we could eat on the porch. The only problem was on the first night we arrived there were large bugs all over the steps and around the pool deck. We found several bugs in the condo by the door and in the kitchen.

We were so pleased that we decided to go ahead and request it for 2014. My only suggestion to the owners is replace the mattress in the master bedroom or flip it. It has valleys where occupants have slept. Great, great experience.

We typically stay in surfside but decided to go to MB at the last minute. Place was well maintained and clean. Master bathroom was a little outdated but it wouldn't take must to update it.
