The complex is centered around a lush tropical courtyard with a large outdoor pool and deck. The deck includes lounge chairs for you to enjoy a day around the pool. There are multiple outdoor grills located on each side of complex as well. In front of Anchorage I and Anchorage II, you will find a playground, memorial park, exercise trail, private walkway to the ocean, outdoor showers and private beach gazebos for our guest to enjoy. Elevators and handicap ramps are located on each side of the complex and are easily accessible. Condos feature full size washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and high-speed internet. Ample parking is available.
* Please note Anchorage I is a SMOKE FREE building (including private balconies). Renters may smoke in a designated area in the back parking lot (opposite side of ocean)
* No motorcycles, trailers or golf carts allowed on the property

Myrtle Beach isn't a area that I typically like staying, however a last minute trip landed us into this unit. (I want to point out that I'm a extremely picky person)..I loved after a long drive being able to go straight to the unit (they email you the entry code) no having to stand in a line to "check-in". When I say the place was immaculate, I don't say that lightly. I was shocked at how clean it was. The kitchen was stocked with adequate amount of cooking ware(bowls, plates etc. also), the beds are comfortable, but not the best. While you sit at the bar style table on the balcony you can relax and enjoy the view. Very short walk to the beach from this unit, and the beach isn't overly crowded. I will definitely stay in this unit again. *I did have to call maintenance for a minor issue upon arrival, but they came and fixed the issue promptly.**this might help the next guest, this unit is privately owned, so when you rent it you receive "standard" email from Anchorage Rentals. I discovered that some of things in it does't apply for this unit. The internet being one of, after i spent one hour of my vacation time on the phone with the listed contact number for "internet issues". My suggestions, LOOK on the board in the kitchen it has information pertaining to this unit. ***the ONLY reason i'm not giving this place a five star is due to the noise, if you can't handle a little noise don't stay here. By noise i mean, the sound of someone walking above you can get a little loud at times. Other than that this place is a great place, and id recommend you to stop searching and book it now!
