Myrtle Beach isn't a area that I typically like staying, however a last minute trip landed us into this unit. (I want to point out that I'm a extremely picky person)..I loved after a long drive being able to go straight to the unit (they email you the entry code) no having to stand in a line to "check-in". When I say the place was immaculate, I don't say that lightly. I was shocked at how clean it was. The kitchen was stocked with adequate amount of cooking ware(bowls, plates etc. also), the beds are comfortable, but not the best. While you sit at the bar style table on the balcony you can relax and enjoy the view. Very short walk to the beach from this unit, and the beach isn't overly crowded. I will definitely stay in this unit again. *I did have to call maintenance for a minor issue upon arrival, but they came and fixed the issue promptly.**this might help the next guest, this unit is privately owned, so when you rent it you receive "standard" email from Anchorage Rentals. I discovered that some of things in it does't apply for this unit. The internet being one of, after i spent one hour of my vacation time on the phone with the listed contact number for "internet issues". My suggestions, LOOK on the board in the kitchen it has information pertaining to this unit. ***the ONLY reason i'm not giving this place a five star is due to the noise, if you can't handle a little noise don't stay here. By noise i mean, the sound of someone walking above you can get a little loud at times. Other than that this place is a great place, and id recommend you to stop searching and book it now!

We had another great stay at the Anchorage in unit B13.
The place was clean, updated, and a great view of the pool.
We were disappointed as for the 2nd straight year the elevator was not working and all week. Also the deep end of the pool stairs were marked off with caution tape. Never fixed the whole week.
Great stay but not sure we can swing the huge rent increase for next year.

The rental was beautiful, well-appointed, and close to everything. The gorgeous quiet beach was just a short walk and we enjoyed our stay. Very clean condo and nice well-kept building. Would stay there again for sure!!

Excellent as usual! Super easy access to the beach for families and elderly vacationers! Not a crowed area. F Close to many great restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend this location.

Room was very nice,pool was nice just felt it should b cleaned more,Bathroom by the pool would also b nice! Ice machines also would b a PLUS. Other then that this is a great place to stay and nice quite area. Hotel next to Anchorage 2 has a nice bar with solid food. B13 is a very solid and set up room,everything u need is in this room.

Myrtle Beach isn’t a area we typically stay, due to the chaos. I like a more laid back atmosphere. But a last minute trip, we came across this place and decided since it seemed a little closer to N. Myrtle Beach (away from the major chaos) we’d give it a try. Being able to go straight to your room upon arrival and not have to stand in a line to check in was a huge plus for me.(Anchorage emails you the entry codes to room) As I stated above I’m picky, It takes a lot to impress me but our room B13(213) in Anchorage I was so clean. Even the baseboards!! There’s always something that sticks out to me as “dirty” but there was NOTHING.The beds are “ok”,There’s a nice bar style table on the balcony my Grandma enjoyed having her morning coffee and watching the sunrise from.(also gives nice view of the pool) It’s a very small walk to the beach from this unit, there’s only a few stairs to get you to 2nd floor, or elevator that runs so smoothly and they even have a ramp. I’m glad my family came across this place, it’s a small “hidden gem” that I’d definitely recommend and I look forward to staying at in the future.
*We had a small maintenance issue upon arrival, I called and they came out and fixed the issue promptly.
**If you don’t like noise this isn’t for you. By this I mean people walking in above unit gets loud at times
***This unit is privately owned, but when you rent it you’ll receive a “standard” email from Anchorage Rentals, I discovered that some of the things in said email doesn’t pertain to this unit. As in the internet, and the internet customer service number. Let me save you from having to waste a hour of your vacation time, like I did. LOOK on the board hanging in kitchen and it has more specific information pertaining to this unit.
That may be something Anchorage Rentals’s need to add

It’s quiet and away from all of the noises part of the beach. A perfect location for relaxing and enjoy your family. There is plenty of space in the room. Large enough kitchen to cook and have more than one person in the space at once. We had to call the property management twice during the week long stay and they were very quick to respond and resolve the issue. The pool is well maintained and the short walk to the beach is perfect. We have stayed here for several years and plan to come back.

This is our third year staying in this unit at Anchorage I and we love it. The condo has been lovingly updated and maintained by the owners. The building and grounds are very well maintained. Highly recommend.

Spent 2 weeks at the beach. We have been coming to Anchorage 1 for several years. Best location for shopping, restaurants and of course the beach. The unit we rented was very clean as usual

Our family loved staying at The Anchorage for the first time. Beautiful condo that had more items available for our use than we expected (many pots/pans containers, utensils, even soaps etc.) Location was right by the beach and was amazing, especially with little ones and having to take many things to the beach. Building was quiet and liked having the convenience of a pool. Beach was not super packed and enjoyed talking with a few other vacationers staying in our building. We would definitely recommend Anchorage to our friends.

Was actually in Myrtle Beach for work but wanted to see the ocean while there. Place was very clean and well equipped for our needs. The internet did not work but we were able to manage with our cell phones. Location is awesome because it was off the busy stretch but very convenient at the same time.

Everything went smoothly! The unit and building were very clean and well maintained. The unit we rented was a litttle dated and needs new bathroom sinks in the master ensuite. Only problem was wifi - the unit had none! There's a modem but we had to get wifi from another unit. The owner needs to upgrade their modem.

Recently spent 6 nights in Myrtle Beach staying in Anchorage 213. Overall, was very satisfied with the condo. Only complaint is the WiFi never worked in the unit. Had to call for help and the gentleman connected me with the WiFi for unit 313. Needless to say, had poor connectivity. He couldn't figure out why our units WiFi wouldn't connect. Condo was very clean and spacious. Exactly as depicted in the pictures. Would highly recommend staying at Anchorage. Will more than likely stay there next year

The experience was what we have come to expect when we stay at an Anchorage unit. One small item that bothered us was that the cleaning of the bed spreads and mattress pads are left to the discretion of the departing guests. We assumed all bedding would be cleaned before new guests arrived. Otherwise this is very unsanitary.

We were very happy with the accommodations at the Anchorage. We loved that it had a patio with a view of the ocean and the ocean was just across the street from our room. Also loved the fact that there were beach chairs and an umbrella in the room for our use :) The room was perfect for us and the washer dryer in the condo was very useful! I like the combination lock to get into the condo, so we did not have to worry about keys. The only thing we found missing were some pillowcases and a set of sheets for the couch. quite a few of the pillows had no pillowcase on them and i like to sleep on the couch, there was not a sheet set in the closet to use for this:(

Very pleasurable experience. Accommodations were excellent. Condo was clean. Condo well suited our needs during our stay. Location and convenience to the ocean good. Just cross the street. During Sept. and Oct. traffic no problem. Location convenient to shopping and dining. No real problems. Instructions for operating door lock code was a incorrect on clean in instructions received thru e-mail. Phone call quickly remedied the problem. No parking pass. Had to call again to get one. Representative delivered one the next day.

Very nice place, clean and a very nice location. Overall it was a great mini vacation, only thing negative I could add is we did have a difficult time finding the unit as the buildings are not clearly marked. We finally asked someone how to find it and they were kind enough to direct us. All in all we did enjoy ourselves.

The units are well-maintained and clean. Management makes an effort to provide a quiet environment for relaxing. You can enjoy the comforts of home on a vacation. I do wish there was more of a rate change in the off-season.

Unit was OK, it was clean but could use some improvements. We were surprised to find out that owners can bring there dogs. The unit across from us had two dog. For the second year in a row the pool filter motor broke at night and made a piercing noise all night long.

Our family and friends stay in Anchorage I every year for a few weeks in July! We have been coming to the Anchorage for over 30 years! It is our home away from home and we have so many wonderful memories there. All of the condos that we rent, especially condo 212 and 213 in Anchorage I, are very clean and recently renovated. The pool and maintenance crews are there every morning, and the Anchorage grounds are kept very nice. The beach is right across the street, and there are several attractions and restaurants that are very close by that we love going to. We have already booked our condos for next year, and plan to continue this yearly tradition as our families keep growing!

The condo was very nicely renovated and clean. There could have been a few more blankets, as the weather was on the chilly side. There was construction on the stairways which was a little inconvenient. Also, the pool heater was not turned on until after the first weekend we were there. We had relatives in other units in the buildings that aren't connected by a hallway. That was a little inconvenient as well, but we managed. Overall the condo and our experience was great!
