Far Exceeds Expectations!
And expectations are high! This felt like home with an amazing comfort level. The view; the sound of the ocean; sitting on the balcony in the morning with coffee; walking distance to a very nice beach restaurant... all that and much more. Extensively well appointed and squeaky clean, this old retired couple highly recommend this condo. We Will be back!

Stayed for the month of October 2023.
Very satisfied with the accommodation. Unit was clean and well stocked with plates, utensils and cooking items. Property well maintained. The Anchorage 1 is in a perfect location, easy to get in and out and to all of the local attractions. The Property management team was easy to work with. A nice relaxing getaway.

We have been staying at the Anchorage I and Anchorage II for 30+ years. We have never been disappointed! Always a fun time in Myrtle Beach. Anchorage Rentals staff is very attentive to any requests or needs you might have. :0)

The unit at Anchorage I was great...was nicely furnished and we had a great time. We have always loved the private section of beach at Anchorage and the general location.The only downside was the pool being out of commission until our final full day.

This is a beautiful condo; great location, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs in the closet, fun decor, comfy beds. Negatives? Minor- 1 beach chair had a dirty headrest so we couldn't use it & they drained the pool on a windy day that wasn't ideal to be at the beach. Neither of these would deter me from staying again & recommending this place!!

The overall experience was wonderful, the location was great. The condo looked exactly like the pictures. Perfect space for 5 people. But the furniture was a bit uncomfortable and old. The master bedroom mattress was sagging and had a "pit" in the middle.

We really loved this unit. Last year we stayed in the same building, but a different unit. It’s a great location, not too close to the busyness but not too far away either. The pool is nice and right there, the beach is right across a little 2 lane street. The unit was clean and bright and spacious. We really loved it here!

This was our 4th visit to Anchorage I and this unit was lovely and clean. The decor was tasteful and it was apparent that efforts had been made to upgrade the unit. The only complaints we had were the beds were in desparate need of new mattresses and we were unable to use the dumpster to throw trash away as the lock was not working. Other than those 2 things we had a wonderful experience.

My daughter, mom and sister spent Thanksgiving week at Anchorage Rentals. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had an awesome ocean view and it felt like home away from home. We had three bedroom unit and it felt like home away from home. We will definitely stay here again.

The only recommendation is they would need to update the sofas and sitting chairs. It felt like you sank to the floor. They are really dated. Because of this we mostly stayed in our rooms to watch TV because the sofa and associated chairs just wasn't comfortable.

This was our second year staying here for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our condo was perfect and had all the amenities need to cook, eat and celebrate!

It was so nice last year that many of our family members stayed at the Anxhythis year as well.

Great location in terms of the beach. There is a road to cross...but not a huge deal. Beach not crowded and the ocean water temperature was amazing. Also, even though our condo was not oceanfront, it still had a great view of the ocean from both balconies. Pool was great and never seemed all that crowded. Always chaise lounges and chairs available. Mostly families with kids - very quiet and there weren't any loud parties, music, etc. This particular condo was very nicely updated inside. The overall buildings look a little aged and dated on the outside, but the grounds and landscaping are kept nice (we liked the palm trees). Nothing really within walking distance in terms of food / shops, so that was a bit of a negative for us. Would have been nice to walk to a cafe for breakfast / lunch or ice cream. Overall, though, very happy, especially when considering the rate we paid for the week.

We stayed in C06 and it was a great unit! Beautiful updated and decorated. Great view of the pool and the ocean view! This until had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. I would stay at Anchorage and in this specific unit again and again. Highly recommend this unit!

The location of our condo was perfect! Loved seeing the ocean from our room. Condo was very clean, kitchen had everything I needed, and loved that we didn’t have to clean the condo before we left!! We felt very safe and it was great to have private access to the beach. Our area at the beach was way less crowded than the other areas that were high rise renters. The price was very affordable and the swimming pool was fantastic!!

We were very happy with how clean the condo was, the location is great, a 2 min walk to the beach and pool right outside your balcony. The upstairs bedroom was warm since it was on top level and you were unable to use the closet since that is where all the heat was coming from. But after a call to owners, a large fan was brought over by next morning. That helped alot. Just a suggestion would to have small everyday items stored in pantry such as salt/pepper/sugar ect like our past condos have.

Our family of seven stayed here for a week in April. The place was very clean and I found the kitchen well stocked as far as gadgets and utensils. There are NO condiments or cooking fare at all- not even salt or pepper shakers, so be aware you’ll need to buy everything. The beds were comfortable, ample space, but we couldn’t figure out the WiFi but it wasn’t really an issue. The washer is small and loud- don’t try to use it during nap time! Lol. There is a playground within walking distance and the beach is very close. It was very quiet at night. Overall very satisfied and would stay again!

Our 4-day weekend started out a little rocky.We did not receive the information packet so had some issues getting the unit after a 10 hour drive. But the neighbors helped us reach the owner to gain entry. Everything was just like the description. Nice decor,great location close to everything. Off season so bring your own beach chairs. The chairs in the unit have been around for a while. Overall great time would stay here again.

We have been coming to Myrtle beach as a family for the last 5 years. Prior to that I came to Myrtle Beach as a kid for over 20 years. Anchorage is a place that we have grown to love. It is quite and offers the ability to relax and just enjoy the beach and warm weather. We have stayed in 3 or 4 different condos trying to find the right fit and this last year, I think we did so with C06.

A very clean home with ocean views. Close to dining , and yet away from the crowd . We would definitely return. Only two minor concerns was the fact of no gas grill to use & the noise from pool that is open till 10:00.

Truly enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend and would stay again. The unit we stayed in was great and fully stocked with all items you would need to cook with which was a plus. Only issue were carpenter bees around the pool and noise at before 8am from the workers replacing the siding on the buildings. Grounds were kept well and the private beach was great!

I stayed in Myrtle Beach with my mother in late September - it was our second stay at Anchorage. We had initially requested the same condo as the year before, but that unit was undergoing some maintenance problems at the time of our arrival. The management was very responsive to my concerns - and moved me to a very nice condo which we loved. From Anchorage, we could easily walk to the beach. A lot of the Myrtle Beach attractions are located in the area, which made driving to these venues easy. We love having our own bedroom and bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our vist to Myrtle Beach! The condo was recently refurbished and they did an excellent job. Very clean and comfortable all the ammenities of home. We have two teen's and our friends rented in the same building. The only con would be our neighbors liked to wake up at 7am and sit on their balcany talking every morning. Their balcony was next to the master bedroom so we were awaken each day. Our windows were closed and we could still hear every word! The local hotel and resturaunt next door has a very cute fun patio we enjoyed. The bartender offered to stay open late for our group, such southern hospitality!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. Our condo was very clean and maintained, the layout was perfect. The condo was very spacious and up to date. We were close to all the popular spots including broadway on the beach and barefoot landing. We would highly recommend this to our family and friends. We plan on making this our home away from home for the next several years.

Our family of four all adults had the nicest stay at your condo. It was newly renovated very tastefully. The grounds are well maintained. The other guest very pleasant. We have a 20 and 25 year old and they never felt out of place. The only suggestion we have is adding a TV to the upper (3rd) bedroom. And maybe some local menus or suggestions of restaurants for take out. We love to hit the locals restaurants. We asked around and went to several of them. We hope to be back again in the near future. Thank you for a very relaxing time. One more quick suggestions was directions for late check in. Had us behind wrong building thank goodness for someone seeing it. They had same problem. And we saw others having same problem and directed them. All was good
