Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My sisters and I were looking for the best beach rental that would accommodate the needs of our elderly mother. We found the perfect location at The Anchorage. A one level condo on the first floor with a walk in shower with handicap hand rails, and easy beach access a short walk away. The Anchorage's staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The condo was very nice, affordable, comfortable and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great experience during our stay at Anchorage II A02. Everything we needed was provided. Condo was clean and tidy. Decorations were fantastic. Balcony furniture was great. Had a good view of the beach which was just a walk across the street. Condo and complex itself was quiet and peaceful. Anchorage II is conveniently located to our favorite dining and shopping locations.

The condo was nice ocean front view. I would be scared with kids just because it's decorated nicely but it's very knick knacky which with kids could be dangerous. The bed was comfy and it did feel homey. We would come back here again

I love waking up to the ocean right at my window. My kids LOVED the pool (almost more than the actual beach). We can’t wait to come back next year! Hopefully for 2 weeks this time!

Anchorage Rentals staff

The Anchorage has been a favorite of our family for years. Its location, as well as the high standards of each condo eliminates any anxiety of "how your condo will look".Our Condo was beautifully furnished, with nice decorative touches throughout. The Kitchen was well equipped with small appliances, pots, pans, etc. Two minor issues- the cable box was out of order for several days, and had to be replaced.Also, the Dishwasher was out of order. This did not, however, impact the positive experience we had. We will definitely be back.

This was a beautiful condo, perfectly located on a private non-crowded beach. The heated bathroom floors were wonderful and we had everything we could possibly need there. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We plan on coming back next fall.

the room is exactly as pictured and advertised. very clean and worked great. bedroom TV could use an upgrade but that is very minor to us. location is perfect if u don't want to walk to everything. loved the place.

Such an amazing vacation, our room had the best views! I was also very impressed by the heated floors in both bathrooms and the jet tub! Very clean! Great location! It was like home away from home, me and my family can’t wait to go back next year!

From booking, answering questions and even returning an item I had left behind, management was quick to respond and always there via email. Unit A02 was the best! The view from the patio was picture perfect and being able to just walk out to the beach in a few minutes was exactly what I wanted. Everything described before booking was accurate. Property was very well-maintained and clean. The pool area was comfortable and never crowded. Guests were friendly and welcoming.Being a solo traveler (due to airline difficulties) I felt very safe being alone as I walked around the neighborhood and beach. I enjoyed Bucket's Bar and Grill next door, Ciao and Mr. Fish for dinner. I highly recommend Anchorage II.

Beautiful place, nicely decorated, well stocked with all you need, very clean….only issue was interruptions from housekeeping, repair man and owner stopping by. Our paid time should have been “our time” without knocks on the door for things that took up our time and relaxation. But, the place was really nice overall!!

We stayed at Anchorage II, unit 102 for 1 week. Nice unit, lovely ocean view, close enough to attractions but not on the main strip. The unit is large, but there is a lot of decor that makes it feel a bit cluttered. It was a challenge to keep our almost 2 year old from messing with everything. Other than that, it's a nice location for a family with kids. Short walk across a street (little traffic) to the beach and playground. Convenient parking.

My daughter was alone and frightened by the bug maintenance person. She hid and called my wife on the beach and that kicked off a series of unnecessary events all based on our panic.

Kip, We are very sorry for the happenings with the pest control. We do post in the condo and in the contract when the pest company will be entering the condos. Because of this event we are going to start emailing our guest a third reminder to avoid any scares in the future. We could see that the unit had been remodeled and was very well decorated. It felt like it was our private beach house. Parking was very class and it was easy getting in and out of the unit with our luggage in groceries. The location of the unit felt like we were in a residential area and not a busy part of the Myrtle Beach strip. It was very conveniently located to anything we wanted to do. We all slept very comfortably and even our kids commented on how much they liked and wanted to return. The next time we are in the area we will definitely look to see if this kind there is available.

Have stayed at Anchorage II for several years and plan to stay there anytime we are at Myrtle Beach. Also, loved the pictures that Lisa took of our family on the beach.
