The unit we had this year was exactly what our family needed for a 2week stay. Our one and only concern was the fragrance we encountered when first entered the unit was very overwhelming and caused a few of us respiratory issues at first . The fragrance is not necessary. We did need to call maintenance about a coffee table issue they were prompt and efficient. Thank you for a great vacation. We will see you next year

Beautiful place and perfect for my family to stay for 5 days during my sons travel baseball tournament! We brought Virginia to the Carolinas and won the whole tournament and all our games! Which made our stay that much more fun! This place was only 7 mins from fields! The kids said their beds were very comfy and the king bed was as well! Very clean in room and on premises! Very thorough and simple check in & check out instructions! Very responsive host! We would and will definitely come back in the future! We wished we could’ve stayed longer!

We stayed over Memorial weekend! We arrived on Wednesday and extended our stay until Tuesday. The view from the master bedroom is the best!!! It was wonderful to wake up and see the ocean. I also had my 2 year old granddaughter with us and it was a perfect family location.

The rooms are always so clean and comfortable, the grounds are well kept, and it's my absolute favorite vacation spot. The beautiful ocean views and easy beach access is simply perfect. Carson helped me with check ins and reservations and was so kind and helpful. This past visit was my first beach vacation with my new husband (we got married about a year ago) and we both had a terrific time. I grew up staying at the Anchorage I/II every year since I was a baby and it's the home of some of my favorite memories. Thank you for always making it so special every time!!

Anchorage I&II Myrtle Beach: Loved the unit, plenty of space with a decent view of the ocean which was directly across the street. Very easily accessible! Pool was very nice as well. Staff & guests were all very friendly. I like the location because it is far enough away from the boardwalk crowds but close enough to get to when you want to go. I would stay here again!

This was a really nice property for the price we paid! The beach was a quick walk across the street (and it was rarely busy even on Memorial Day weekend), the pool was clean and usually quiet, and it was a quick drive to everywhere in Myrtle beach! The only complaint we had was we wish it could have been a little more cleanly upon our arrival. A few of the dishes seemed like they hadn’t been washed and the guest bathtub was quite dirty. Aside from this, which was pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, this was a great place to stay!

This was our first time booking a condo and not a hotel. I was quite concerned for the safety of my family given COVID. However, our experiment was great.! We stayed at Anchorage II which was right across the beach. The apartment was impeccable. It was clean beyond I had imagined. Towels, linens all very clean. The owner had everything in the house from small utensils to grinders, hot pots, oven accessories, and everything you could possibly need. My toddler was thrilled about beach toys, beach umbrella (so thoughtful of the owner), books and puzzles that they left us. Parking was easy. Owner was easy to get in touch with. We literally booked the night before traveling. Check in was easy. Great location. Private beach access for guests only!! So social distancing was very doable. Overall great experience and would recommend to a friend!

It was a great space. Thing to remember- the air mattress is in the closet. Any issues with the TVs, send an email, their response time is AMAZING. Remember to pack dish soap and laundry detergent. No need to bring extra towels, you can wash the ones that are there.

We stayed at the end of June, was very easy to find the property using the directions provided, there were also lots of parking spaces. The property was very clean and was just a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a beachfront vacation. The condo location was very convenient to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, attractions, and outlets. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was a great size for four adults. It was clean, and the management company answered our questions about the lock on the door right away. We were disappointed that the beautiful outdoor pool was closed the entire week due to COVID-19 restrictions, but I guess it was opening after we left. Also, the furniture and accessories in the condo need to be updated, but that didn’t keep us from having a wonderful vacation. We would recommend the place!

The complex is across the street from a great stretch of beach. There is ample parking and the pool is a good size. The unit decor is a bit dated but totally clean and mostly functional. (The balcony furniture needs replaced)

This was my first experience with a VRBO. The description & pictures were spot on. Appreciated having a lock with code on door to have all of us come & go without need for a physical key. Upon arrival the condo was EXTREMELY clean. Traveling with teenagers it was a perfect layout inside condo with separation of bedrooms & bathrooms. The view and sound of ocean while sitting on the deck was amazing! The blessing the that description did not mention is the condo building is not setup hotel style but instead the exit door of condo goes “outside“ in a hallway versus like in hotel “inside” hallway to elevator and then outside. So you can leave & get to your vehicle outside, versus being inside a building. Convenient location to many activities and of course the beach. Only negative is pool was “closed” during our visit which temps were not in favor of actually using pool but think it might be worth mentioning under description. I would recommend this place to all that want a quiet, clean and away from all downtown traffic & action.

The pool area is very nice and well maintained every morning. The size and the amenities of this condo were perfect for four adults and a baby. I would definitely recommend to remove the carpets in the two bedrooms. They were not very clean especially the one in the master bedroom. There seems to be a problem with the dryer since I noticed a lot of humidity when cleaning the filter.

Great access to the beach, a refreshing, clean pool, a kitchen with all major appliances, a king bed and updated master bathroom and 2nd bedroom with another updated gorgeous bathroom, and a sweet balcony to boot! Plus a washer and dryer if you do happen to need them! Love this homey unit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My sister and I stayed in a two bedroom condo for 2 weeks at the end of February. The condo was great--very quiet and comfortable. The bathrooms were well set up-one with a large walk-in shower,the other with a tub shower. The location was great--I could see the ocean from my bedroom doorwall and the living area balcony(it connects the bedroom and living area so can be accessed from either room). It is an ideal location for a place to vacation because you can go for walks on the beach or in a neighborhood is removed by a short distance from the congestion of Myrtle Beach (although in February there is no congestion)Our only disappointment was in the weather. Temps were well below normal--however they were still at least 30 degrees warmer than home(Michigan and Connecticut).For me--this is an ideal time to vacation--quiet and no crowds. We had a great time!We also took 2 days and drove to Charleston--it's about 2 easy hour drive away.

Grounds always groomed, sparkling pool and great beach access. Plenty of convenient parking. Have always worked well with the Foster family, very accommodating. Over the yrs., several other families have gone to Anchorage upon our recommendation, most have even returned. No better place on the grand strand. Ahhh, wish I we there now. The room didn't have a pull out couch so when the kids had friends stay over night they were on the floor, but the couch was extremely comfortable. I'd like to know where they bought it.

Before I discovered Anchorage II we stayed at and effecience hotel. A friend told me to try Anchorage II out and it's been home away from home since then. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very pleasant. The beach was very accessible and the atmosphere was quite and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good vacation rental. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to have celling fans in the bedrooms. We will definitely return next year, lord willing.

I have recommened 2 other couples to Anchorage 2 and the are going on their 2nd & 3rd years here. The kitchen is nicely equiped with good cookware , but the dishes leave a lot to be desired. It would be nice if there was a complete set of matching dishes, silver ware & glasses. When we have guests it bothers me although it does not seem to bother them. Maybe its not that big of A deal

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 5th year in 212 and for the most part it has been a wonderful experience. We were a little concerned about the fact that it was not as clean this year as in the past. Under the bed in the master bedroom looked like it had not been vacuumed for a long time. The backside of the headboard is covered with dust--we did the best we could to vacuum it without moving the bed. There is a large stain on the rug in the living room that has been there for a couple of years now. The counter in the kitchen has a fairly large size hole on the surface of it. Some of the dishes, glasses and silver looked like they had not been washed. We are very thankful for the new furniture in the living room; we would still like to see a recliner. We would be interested in seeing any other unit that might be available next year. We sincerely appreciate your responsiveness to our needs and requests.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been staying at Anchorage II for 13 years and we love it!There are sometimes as many as 16 or 17 of us or as few as 11. My granddaughters friend and her family have even rented a condo the last 2 years because she had such a great time staying with us one year. They decided to rent the same week as us. We have always had a pleasant stay and usually great weather. The staff at the rental agency has always been very helpful if we needed anything. I hope our family can continue our vacations at Anchorage for many years to come!
