Nicely decorated. Close to shopping, restaurants, Planet Fitness and church. Had a small issue and was resolved ASAP by maintenance. Will stay again.

Over all it was a great property and place to stay. It reminded us of the Golden Girls, which we LOVED every bit of it! VERY clean. We loved the newly renovated bathroom. We were able to put our baby's pack-n-play in the laundry room so that she had a separate room. All the rooms were well furnished and straight forward as to be expected. Nothing was broken or missing. Very enjoyable. There were grocery carts available to help with moving luggage, which was nice to have. We were a little hesitant about the provided beach chairs/gear, but it ended up good. It was great to have the beach gear storage, so that we didn't have to worry about pulling that up the room. It would have been nice to have seen pictures and list what was provided. Our biggest compliant would be there were 6 forks and a dozen tea spoons, a dozen table spoons, a dozen soup spoons. a dozen butter knives. Why so many spoons and so few forks? Not really anything to complain about, just thought it was odd. In the end, we've already started saving up to come back next year.

Great family get away! Quick walk to the beach. Excellent location, just minutes from downtown Myrtle Beach, but far enough away so the crowds were not as large on the beach. Only issue was that you could hear the pitter-patter of kids feet as they were walking around upstairs. Would definitely come back.

I do wish all the condos had tile flooring rather than carpet. Our location this year had dirty carpet. Other than the carpet needing cleaned we had a great week.

This is a lovely property in a largely residential neighborhood. The description of the unit was accurate. It was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable break. Every unit has a great view of the beach and this united provided beach chairs and other beach items. I highly recommend.

We just returned from our week long stay at Anchorage II, room 216. We had a great vacation. We really liked the property due to the small size of the property (58 units total?) and the location to the beach. The property is setup in a U shape with every room balcony overlooking the courtyard area (with the pool) and at least a good partial view of the beach. The room was in great condition and everything worked as expected. My only negative would be the large number of nicknack decorations everywhere in the condo. I'm sure this is the owner's taste and they deserve that as the owners. I felt like there was a constant watch out to make sure we didn't knock this or that knicknack off of the numerous shelves, desks, tables, etc. Other than that the condo was great and well furnished. The unit includes an outdoor storage locker that contained beach chairs and some beach equipment to use. We did not use any as we had brought our own but would have had we not brought. The lock on the unit was rusted beyond repair in the open position but it appeared that nothing gets stolen at this property anyway. I saw several people leave items outside their doors every day without any issues. The location of the property is in a nice spot as it is close to the top of the beach strip but yet still pretty quiet. MB has about everything under the sun to do as far as activity so not a shortage. The beach was very nice and very large. The waves were pretty stiff and that made ocean time a little tough. Worth noting is the policy of no canopies or tents on the beach (umbrellas only). I wish I had known this before I bought a beach tent for the trip but apparently it is a rule. The lifeguard on the beach rents an umbrella and 2 chairs for $40 per day but go to the Eagle beach supply and buy an umbrella for $45 instead. Again a geat trip at a great location.

We found this property and even though the condo we asked for that faced the ocean was not available, the staff sent us back this condo. We dealt with them by phone and internet. They were very helpful and confident that the condo would fulfill our needs. We did a Thursday-Thursday rental vs traditional Sat-Sat. Only saw the rental agent briefly on Saturday, but she was more than helpful. They seem to take great pride in this property and it shows. The condo was up to date, very clean and well appointed-esp in the kitchen. which we used a lot. The Pool view /balcony was perfect and could see parts of the ocean from it. But the beach access was the best. Just a short walk across the street to a lovely dune area that had a decking path and mud shower to wash off after the beach. There was also access to chair and umbrella rental right there on the beach. Very family friendly beach and much quieter area of MB. We would come back to this property again--esp since we flew in and the condo had provided beach chairs, small umbrella and boogie boards! The Salt water pool was perfect end to the day. Well maintained property, and other quests were respectful of the place too. We also appreciated how close it was to Broadway on the beach and Kings Hwy. Made going around very easy and finding restaurants and groceries was a breeze. Enjoy!

The only thing that I had a problem with is there were suppose to be extra towels and there wasn't and when calling down to main desk there was a gentleman that was kinda rude about sending up toliet paper since our guest bathroom had none. But definitely would stay here again and would highly recommended this rental company to friends and family. We are already planning next year's stay!

I am not one to complain but this group was very load and inconsiderate.. The pool is the center part of the condos so everything echoes ?? also on Friday the lawn service started at 6am-- why can't they come in Saturday when everyone is trying to leave.. The last day to sleepAnd we were awake listening toLawn mowers.. I know you all can't do much about the guest and being rowdy but maybe the lawn service??

Reviewer Comments: 14 years vacationing in Myrtle Beach, the last 10 years or so at the anchorage, always a pleasant stay, this year we looked at houses thats how much we love the south, the staff are great especially one dedicated and honest person, and that is Lisa, she is wonderfull, we left myrtle beach and i'm driving through Jersey and i scream oh no the wife thought i saw an accident, i yell out money, i left 1200 dollars in cash in a bowl on the dresser, the wife called Lisa and she went straight over to 216 and found the money,, the wife said to take a 100.00 dollars for yourself Lisa said absolutly not, she mailed us a check , what a great girl, anchorage and quest should be greatfull for having a great person like Lisa, i recomend the ANCHORAGE to everyone thankyou so much, we will see you in April 2015, thanks again Lisa Gary & Kathy Shanks
