Wonderful place. Very much a family atmosphere. Condo was clean, roomy and very comfortable. Pool area was nice. Just steps from the beach. Musch better than a stuffy old hotel.

Staying at the Anchorage is always just like coming home! The rooms are always so clean and comfortable, the grounds are well kept, and it's my absolute favorite vacation spot. The beautiful ocean views and easy beach access is simply perfect. Carson helped me with check ins and reservations and was so kind and helpful. This past visit was my first beach vacation with my new husband (we got married about a year ago) and we both had a terrific time. I grew up staying at the Anchorage I/II every year since I was a baby and it's the home of some of my favorite memories. Thank you for always making it so special every time!!

While we had no issues that stopped us in our tracks of enjoying the stay, we were disappointed that the unit itself had not changed much/been improved since our stay in 2016. We noted 2 maintenance issues and that was looked into right away, although couldn't be fixed at that time. Total KUDOS to Lisa and Karin though for working with us to book our next visit!

As this was our first experience with Anchorage, we loved the location and comfortable suite, as we could sip our coffee from the patio and see the ocean.The villa was clean and well equipped, even supplying 2 beach chairs. Very convenient to have full size washer and dryer to use. Very family friendly.

The facility was very nice and close to the beach. We were very pleased with the condo. We were close to all of the attractions but far enough away that it wasn't crowded.I would highly recommend this rental.

We rented 5 condos. Management was able to accommodate us, so that our condos were next door to each other. Perfect! Condos were clean and well appointed!
We had an excellent stay, and the weather was perfect! I am giving you credit for that, too! ��

Unit 212 was pretty nice. The walk to the beach was short, no longer than a hotel on the beach's walk. The beach was very nice, plenty of room, the private entrance with rinse off station is very convenient Grounds were kept up with and the pool was clean. Could use some upgrades, furniture starting to show its age, but still our stay was awesome

Our first time renting here. The condo was a great size for 4 adults. Convenient to the beach, grocery shopping, outlets, and restaurants. We had no issues except that the pool was closed the entire week we were there (due to Covid-19 restrictions.)

Nice location in Myrtle Beach, north of the big crowds and more peaceful area.
Family of 5 stayed 5 days ( 10-7-5 y old), spacious 2 bedroom condo, clean, cross the street and you’re in the sand. This unit has more of a pool view and facing other units, pool was always crowded, high season mind you. Unit has many beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc, which is great. Would definitely stay at the Anchorage II again, but would inquire for an Ocean view to have a bit more privacy.

Everything within the rental was as expected. The unit and property is well kept and in an ideal location. It was also nice to get a call from the owner of the unit to check on things and owners of other units checked to ensure everything within the unit was good.
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting myrtle beach.

Anchorage II is located in a beautiful and scenic area of Myrtle Beach. It is not too busy, but yet close enough to all activities. We had an easy walk to the beach and pool. Our condo was clean and spacious and the entire property was attractive. We would recommend Anchorage II and would stay there again!

The location of this rental was perfect, in a quiet area of Myrtle Beach with an easy access to the beach. The pool area is very nice and well maintained every morning. The size and the amenities of this condo were perfect for four adults and a baby. I would definitely recommend to remove the carpets in the two bedrooms. They were not very clean especially the one in the master bedroom. There seems to be a problem with the dryer since I noticed a lot of humidity when cleaning the filter.

Incredibly awesome! Unit 212 is a home away from home. This is our 2nd year in a row staying in this unit and we love it! Great access to the beach, a refreshing, clean pool, a kitchen with all major appliances, a king bed and updated master bathroom and 2nd bedroom with another updated gorgeous bathroom, and a sweet balcony to boot! Plus a washer and dryer if you do happen to need them! Love this homey unit!

We loved the condo. It absolutely fit our needs and it was very clean and decorated very nicely! You just cross the street and you are at the beach, which is not too crowded at all! The pool at the condo was awesome and our girls loved it just as much as the ocean! We'll definitely be turning to Anchorage II! We had a great time with friends who were also staying at Anchorage II in a different suite. Two thumbs up from Pittsburgh!

Overall experience was very satisfying. A stone's throw from the beach and you don't have to cross a major roadway to get there. This was my second time staying at Anchorage II and my family and I will definitely return again.

My sister and I stayed in a two bedroom condo for 2 weeks at the end of February. The condo was great--very quiet and comfortable. The bathrooms were well set up-one with a large walk-in shower,the other with a tub shower. The location was great--I could see the ocean from my bedroom doorwall and the living area balcony(it connects the bedroom and living area so can be accessed from either room).
It is an ideal location for a place to vacation because you can go for walks on the beach or in a neighborhood is removed by a short distance from the congestion of Myrtle Beach (although in February there is no congestion)
Our only disappointment was in the weather. Temps were well below normal--however they were still at least 30 degrees warmer than home(Michigan and Connecticut).
For me--this is an ideal time to vacation--quiet and no crowds. We had a great time!
We also took 2 days and drove to Charleston--it's about 2 easy hour drive away.

Lovely well-kept condo w/all amenities. Been frequenting Anchorage II for about 20 some yrs. Grounds always groomed, sparkling pool and great beach access. Plenty of convenient parking. Have always worked well with the Foster family, very accommodating. Over the yrs., several other families have gone to Anchorage upon our recommendation, most have even returned. No better place on the grand strand. Ahhh, wish I we there now. Thanks for asking my opinion.

Everyone was very friendly, beautiful grounds and proximity to beach. There should be wheelchair ramps at each end of building. The room didn't have a pull out couch so when the kids had friends stay over night they were on the floor, but the couch was extremely comfortable. I'd like to know where they bought it.

Throughout my family' s stay, it felt as though we were part of the community and not just renting a room. The location has a home-type feeling and adds to the relaxing quality of the stay. You could spend hours looking for another place to stay that has better qualities or you can trust the desire of the management staff to facilitate a memorable vacation. If you chose the latter, you will not be disappointed in any way.

I have stayed at Anchorage II for over 20 years and would never stay anywhere else. Before I discovered Anchorage II we stayed at and effecience hotel. A friend told me to try Anchorage II out and it's been home away from home since then. People are friendly, condos are superb and so family oriented. W/D in unit, full kitchen and comfortable beds throughout. I cannot say enough about the Foster family and their rental ability to work with you to make your stay a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very pleasant. The beach was very accessible and the atmosphere was quite and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good vacation rental.
If I were to make any suggestions it would be to have celling fans in the bedrooms.
We will definitely return next year, lord willing.

I have always been thrilled with the care that Charlie and his staff do to make our stay as good as it can be. I have recommened 2 other couples to Anchorage 2 and the are going on their 2nd & 3rd years here. The kitchen is nicely equiped with good cookware , but the dishes leave a lot to be desired. It would be nice if there was a complete set of matching dishes, silver ware & glasses. When we have guests it bothers me although it does not seem to bother them. Maybe its not that big of A deal

Our family has been staying at Anchorage II for 13 years and we love it!There are sometimes as many as 16 or 17 of us or as few as 11. My granddaughters friend and her family have even rented a condo the last 2 years because she had such a great time staying with us one year. They decided to rent the same week as us. We have always had a pleasant stay and usually great weather. The staff at the rental agency has always been very helpful if we needed anything. I hope our family can continue our vacations at Anchorage for many years to come!
